Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 January 2001.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Law is to ensure favourable conditions for the development of agriculture and to promote an environment-friendly, efficient management. In particular, small and medium environmental-friendly family-run businesses shall be promoted. The text consists of 59 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Economic principles (II); Rural property (III); Animal breeding (IV); Plant cultivation and plant protection (V); Agricultural vocational training (VI); Administrative measures (VII); Transitional and final provisions (VIII).
