Abstract The present Law lays down provisions relating to precautionary measures concerning genetic engineering. In particular, the aim of the present Law is to protect the European protected areas, the nature protected areas and the natural parks; as well as to protect agricultural land being cultivated free from genetically manipulated organisms.
