Abstract This Law establishes and prescribes necessary standards and rules governing the duties, responsibilities and status of the Croatian Port authorities, that have to perform their related tasks: supervision of the navigation in internal waters and territorial sea of the Croatian Republic, search and rescue of human life and property at sea, maritime safety inspection activities, inspection of the maritime domain, registration and data collection, keeping of the register of ships.
