Abstract This Law defines a non-governmental organization, determines the conditions for granting the status of a non-governmental organization in the public interest, the rights and obligations of these non-governmental organizations, and regulates the record of organizations with the status of a non-governmental organization in the public interest. With the aim of strengthening the contribution of non-governmental organizations to social welfare, cohesiveness, solidarity, democratic plurality and sustainable development, this Law also defines a supportive environment and measures for more effective development of non-governmental organizations.
