The present Law enters into force on 15 April 1919.
Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to mining in the Canton St, Gallen. In particular, article 1 establishes that the State has the monopoly of mining in general, as far as salt, and other minerals are concerned, as well as lignite and charcoal. They may not be exploited without authorization by the State. The text consists of 25 articles.
