Abstract

This Law provides to ensure effective, transparent and financially sound implementation of the European Aid Fund for the Most Deprived Persons in Latvia in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 223/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived. The law prescribes the obligations and rights of the institutions involved in the management of the fund and the institutions involved in the implementation of the fund, the procedure by which the institutions involved in the management of the fund take decisions, the procedure for contesting and appealing them, and the conditions for granting funding.
