Abstract The present Law lays down provisions relating to the hunting and protection of wild-living mammals and birds in the Canton of Ticino. It also contains enforcement regulations pertaining to federal Ordinances and Laws. In particular, the Canton ensures the complete conservation and protection of a great number of indigenous species and their living space, such as mammals and birds, as well as threatened species.
