This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Law prescribes the conditions aimed to define and regulate the use of genetically modified organisms in closed systems; the formation of the Council for biological security of the Republic of Srpska; the keeping of registers of closed systems for contained use of genetically modified organisms, the classification and rules for authorized laboratories, and administrative and inspection issues all related to the use of genetically modified organisms on the territory of the Republic of Srpska (part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
