Abstract

The present Law aims to: a) protect, enhance, restore and construct the habitats of native fish, crabs, nutrient animals and other small animals living in water; b) preserve, enhance and restore the natural biodiversity and native aquatic animals; c) protect endangered species and breeding of aquatic animals; d) use and manage fish and shellfish stocks in a sustainable way. The text consists of 49 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Protection and promotion (II); Patent and tenancy (III); Fishing activities (IV); Monopoly revenues (V); Supervisions and compensation (VI); Final provisions (VII).
