Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 January 1985.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Law is to regulate expropriation proceedings. Article 4 establishes the setting up of an Expropriation Commission defining its composition and its tasks. The text consists of 53 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Sphere of application and organisation (1); Principles of expropriation law (2); Compensation (3); Proceedings (4); Restitution of land (5); Transitional and final provisions (6).
