The Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.

Abstract

The present Law regulates turnover of drugs, including their manufacturing, preparation, dosage, packaging, registration, quality control and other operation for the purpose of obtaining or annihilating drugs, purchase, storage, distribution, vending, import, export of drugs, information concerning them, advertising and determines competence of state bodies in the afore-mentioned sphere. The Act consists of 21 Articles. Article 1 introduces the main concepts used in the text of the present Law. Article 2 regards pharmaceutical activity. Article 3 regards licensing of pharmaceutical activity. Article 4 regards provision of the population with drugs. Article 5 regards manufacturing of drugs. Article 6 regards preparation of drugs. Article 7 establishes liability for the infringement of the legislation on manufacturing, storage, packaging and labelling of drugs. Article 8 regards marking and packaging of drugs. Article 9 regards prohibition of manufacturing, vending and use of drugs not conforming to the validated requirements. Article 10 regards import and export of drugs. Article 11 regards information on drugs. Article 12 regulates transport and storage of drugs. Article 13 regards transit of drugs. Article 14 regards annihilation of drugs. Article 15 regards state registration of drugs. Article 16 regards state quality control of drugs. Article 17 regards collateral impact of drugs. Article 18 regards state guarantees of ensuring provision of the population with drugs. Article 19 regards survey over pharmaceutical activity. Article 20 establishes liability for the infringement of the present Law. Article 21 regards international agreements.
