Abstract This Law provides various standards, rules and requirements aimed to correctly define the basic rights of consumers, conditions and means of consumer protection, the rights and obligations of associations and unions whose field of action is the achievement of the objectives related to consumer protection in all phases and types of good and/or services (including water, food, feed and/or similar), also establishing a system of extra-judicial resolution of consumer disputes, as well as the rights and obligations of government agencies and other competent national institutions in the field of consumer protection on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
