Abstract The present Law establishes conditions and regulations on compulsory insurance of civil responsibility for the damage caused to life and health of the population, property and environment by environmental pollution as a result of disaster, guarantees protection of property rights of legal and natural persons, as well as of state and municipalities. The document consists of 16 Articles Art. 1 introduces the main concepts. Article 2 specifies legislation on ecological insurance. Article 3 specifies activity and object of ecological insurance. Article 4 classifies insurance cases. Article 5 regards insurers and establishes their rights and duties. Article 6 regards insurants and establishes their rights and duties. Article 7 regards contracts of ecological insurance. Article 8 regards inspection of ecological insurance contracts. Article 9 regards insurance fees. Article 10 regards insurance instalments and tariffs. Article 11 regards insurance payments. Article 12 regards refusal of insurance payments. Article 13 regards insurance reserves.
