Abstract This Law regulates all necessary procedural matters, and manner and conditions for granting, protection and termination of plant breeder's right. The purpose of this Law is to grant and protect established breeder's right. Breeder is a person, or holder of a permit, who creates, cultivates and maintains a variety (a group of plants or a single plant within its unique botanical classification). Chapter IX sets inspection related provisions; Chapter X provides for penalty provisions.
