The Law specifies other laws in which provision is made with respect to implementation of a single market organization for agricultural products. The National Agency for Rural Development (from 2009 the Finnish Food Authority) is the competent national authority for the implementation of the market organization within the framework of the EU Common Agricultural Policy, and is responsible for the implementation of the measures related to the market organization, for which the national authority shall be responsible for and for the decisions that are required to be taken for purposes of implementation requires, unless otherwise stipulated in this Law.
