Abstract This Law determines economic, social and legal basis of the organization and functioning of peasant farm and their associations. This Law grants the right to the citizens to set up peasant farms, economic self-dependence and assistance in their activity and state protection of their legal interests and the right to free cooperation among them. The document consists of 7 Sections that contain 33 articles. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 establishes the modalities of setting up peasant farm. Section 3 determines the rights and the duties of citizens that are engaged in farming as regards the use of land. Section 4 concerns the property of peasant farm. Section 5 deals with the functioning of peasant farm. Section 6 regards association of peasant farms. Section 7 regards cessation of activity of peasant farm.
