Abstract

This Law establishes, as a consequence of the acquisition by Curaçao and Sint Maarten of the status of country in the Kingdom, a boundary between the sea areas, including the seabed and subsurface below, of Curaçao on the one hand and of Bonaire ((being a municipality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands) on the other, and of Sint Maarten on the one hand and of Saba (being a public entity of the Kingdom of the Netherlands) on the other.

Law of the Kingdom amending the Law of the Kingdom establishing sea border between Curaçao and Bonaire, and between Sint Maarten and Saba to implement the Treaty of Philipsburg Decision of the 27th June 2018 to proclaim the Kingdom Act of May 30, 2018, amending the Kingdom Act of July 7, 2010 establishing a maritime border between Curaçao and Bonaire, and between Sint Maarten and Saba (Stb. 2010, 342), implementing the Philipsburg until 6 April 2016 Treaty concluded between the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Government of the French Republic on maritime demarcation in the Caribbean area.
