It consists of five chapters: General provisions (I); Titles of ship management personnel (II); Requirements imposed on management personnel of fishing vessel (III); Examination of competences for certification and confirmation of its validity (IV); and Transitional provisions (V). The Law applies to sailors who apply for certification as well as sailors on vessels under Georgian flag. The Law does not apply to vessels that are shorter than seven meters.
