The Law has come into force on January 01, 1998.
Abstract

With a view to preventing, controlling and ceasing the animal diseases, developing breeding industry and protecting human safety, this Law is hereby formulated. In chapter one General Provision, it gives the interpretation of animal, animal production, animal diseases and epidemical prevention. In chapter two Prevention of animal diseased, it classifies the animal diseases as first, second and third degrees, and regulates six types of animal productions are forbidden to trade (article 18). Chapter three is the procedure of controlling and ceasing of animal diseases. In chapter four it rules the measures of the animal quarantine. In chapter five Supervision are the provisions of inspection procedures. Further provisions are legal responsibilities.
