This Law enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Law consisting of 3 articles amends paragraph b of art.15 and establishes that the competent authority issues import and export permits for pesticides permitted for circulation against payment of a fees of 20,000 Yemeni Rials for each permit issued. The Law adds art.8 bis stating that the Agricultural Pesticides Registration Committee and the competent authority's employees shall maintain the trade secrets of the pesticide producers, and who discloses something of these secrets shall be dismissed from service and by imprisonment for a period of no less than one year and not exceeding two years.
