Abstract

This Law consisting of 17 articles aims at the regulation by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of the ownership, import, export or trade of any dangerous animals and creatures. In order to protect the wildlife and its natural habitats, as well as regulating the trade in endangered species and their products, the Law prohibits the aforementioned actions without a license from the competent authority. Public zoos are excluded from the license. It is prohibited to take, walk around, or hike with any of the dangerous animals and creatures in public places. The owners and holders of dangerous animals and their custodians shall take precautions and measures issued by a decision of the minister to ensure that such dangerous animals and creatures do not escape. Animals and dangerous organisms, the names of their owners and their holders, the birth, death or loss of any of them, and the sale or purchase thereof, shall be recorded in a register prepared by the competent administration for that purpose. The list of dangerous animals and organisms is attached to the Record.
