Abstract The scope of this Law shall be to regulate relations in the sphere of restriction of spreading and use of liquors and tobaccos. One of the main directions of the state policy shall be to ensure state control in the sphere of manufacturing, processing and trade of liquors and tobaccos (Art. 4). The state shall guarantee enforcement and observance of rules and assessment procedures related to safety liquors and tobaccos for human life and health, regulating processing and trade thereof and imposing ban on import of liquors and tobaccos containing hazardous substances in quantities exceeding limits set by the Ministry of Public Health (Art. 5). The Cabinet of Ministers shall carry out licensing of processing of liquors and tobaccos (Art. 7). The Ministry of Public Health shall validate the contents of labels for liquors and tobaccos (Art. 8). Requirements for packaging and labelling of liquors and tobaccos shall be set forth by the national technical regulations (Art. 12). Full text Russian Website lex.uz
