The Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The present Law regulates legal relations between the authorized state veterinary institution and other institutions, enterprises and organizations, individual entrepreneurs, and also citizens. The authorized institution shall be responsible for: 1) organization and administration of veterinary service; 2) organization and carrying out the arrangements for prophylaxis, diagnostics, cure and liquidation of infectious, invasive and non-infectious animal and poultry disease; 3) prognostication and evaluation of epidemiological situation and compliance with the requirements regarding prophylaxis and liquidation of infectious animal disease, and also disinfection, disinfestations and de-ratting requirements; 4) validation of regulations and legislative acts on veterinary (art. 4). The authorized state institution shall carry out state veterinary supervision that is the totality of organizational and legislative arrangements for the purpose of carrying out by economic entities of anti-epizootic arrangements, organization of the arrangements for the prevention and liquidation of infectious and non-infectious animal disease, and the protection of the national territory from the introduction thereof form abroad (art. 9). State veterinary inspectors shall carry out supervision over the means of animal protection, animal feedstuffs and animal food additives, and also over testing of drugs (art. 11). Total or partial ban can be imposed in case of the proclamation of quarantine (art. 15). The Law consists of 7 Sections composed of 22 articles.
