This Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Law establishes the amount, calculation, payment terms and procedures for the profitable immovable property, including the rights of the state, and provisions of the state guarantees and implementation of the provisions for ensuring the rights of citizens to existing immovable property. It lists the categories of persons entitled to indemnification and compensation and the principle of remuneration for the loss of immovable property, including land, forests and waterbodies. Formerly expropriated land transferred to urban areas shall be evaluated at the average market price of agricultural land in suburban areas while evaluation of other land in urban areas shall be linked to average salary in a given city. Indemnification and compensation shall be paid in cash money.
