A natural person shall acquires the status of farmer after state registration thereof as legal entity. Farmer and his partners shall be authorized to perform agricultural activities, forestry and other non-prohibited activities that do not require the establishment of a company. Farmer shall be authorized to manage agricultural and/or forest land and/or water resources owned/leased, used or otherwise managed for agricultural activities. If the income of a farmer does not exceed 12 minimum living standards per year, he/she shall be entitled to receive additional social benefits in accordance with the procedure established by the Government. Farmer or his partner (partners) must have the professional training preparation by the institution authorized by the Government. Article 6 establishes the procedure for registration of farmer as legal entity/individual entrepreneur. Farmer and his partners, whose income from agriculture during the calendar year is not less than 50 per cent of the total income received, are subject to preferential taxation rates established by law. The Government, by giving priority to young farmers (up to 40 years old), establishes the form and size of their establishment and qualification upgrading support.
