Abstract The scope of this Law shall be to ensure the rational management of agricultural land, development of land market and land consolidation. This Act shall not be applicable to purchase of land in the gardening associations. The following categories of land managers shall have the state support in the form of instalment selling of the public land for the period of 15 years: (a) natural persons registered as farmers; and (b) legal persons manufacturing agricultural commodities annual sale proceeds of which exceeds 50 percent of annual income thereof. Total allowable purchase of land shall be authorized so that agricultural land share within total purchased land area shall not exceed: (a) for natural persons – 300 ha; and (b) for legal persons – 2000 ha.
