Abstract This Law establishes the Unemployment Social Insurance Fund ensuring social protection against unemployment through entitlement to social insurance benefit and part-time benefit, allocation, calculation and payment thereof. Unemployment insurance is a type of state social insurance paid by unemployment insurance funds in cases envisaged by law in the amount specified in this Law. It establishes terms and conditions for the entitlement to the payment of social insurance benefit for the unemployed. Unemployment insurance benefit shall be paid at least once a month for the previous month. Unemployment insurance benefit shall be paid for the period of 9 months. Unemployment insurance benefit shall be calculated as the sum of fixed and variable components. Funds for the unemployment insurance shall be provided by the State Social Insurance Fund budget.
