Abstract This Law regulates the relations in the sphere of beekeeping management intended for obtaining products of beekeeping, defines the legal basis for the activities related to breeding, care, the use of bee species, the preservation of honey bees and the veterinary service for beekeeping sector. Either natural or legal persons shall have the right to carry out beekeeping. Bee colonies shall be subject to registration. Apiaries shall be placed on land in conformity with veterinary procedures at a distance of no less than 0.5 km from healthcare, educational, cultural and other public institutions and organization in order to protect public health. In case of transfer of reproductive bees from one colony (apiary) to another they shall be kept in quarantine for at least one year. In case of ecological production of honey and other apiculture products they must certified by the authorized state body. Full text Armenian Website www.arlis.am
