This Law enters into force on the day it is published.
Abstract

By this Law, the Republic of Azerbaijan approved the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat 1971, the Protocol to amend the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat 1982 and the Amendment of the Convention on wetlands of international importance especially as waterfowl habitat by the Conference of the Contracting Parties on 28 May 1987. The Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat 1971 consist of 12 articles, the Protocol to amend the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat 1982 consist of 7 articles and the Amendment of the Convention on wetlands of international importance especially as waterfowl habitat by the Conference of the Contracting Parties on 28 May 1987 includes amendments on Articles 6 and 7 of the Convention. The texts of the Convention, the Protocol and the Amendment on Articles 6 and 7 are attached to this Law in its original Azerbaijani translation.
