This Law enters into force 90 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Law establishes Iberian wolf protection ('Canis lupus signatus'). It consists of 10 articles prohibiting wolf hunting (except for scientific purposes) establishing protecting measures to be applied by the Government and listing any prohibited hunting method (including the use of poisons and other lethal substances) in order to protect and to increase wolf population within Portuguese territory.
