Abstract This Law, consisting of 16 articles, establishes food quality standards for family, artisanal or community agro-industry of animal origin products to be implemented within the State of Rio Grande do Norte. It specifies competent authority for State Animal Health Protection (IDIARN) and requirements to be satisfied in order to perform the above mentioned activity and place on the market animal origin products.
