Abstract This Law regulates relations originating between producers, manufactures, traders and customers and establishes the right of consumers to purchase of quality and safe commodities, access to information related to commodities and ensures state and public protection of consumers’ rights. Consumers’ rights shall be ensured through application of state standards and by guaranteeing access to information related to commodities (Art. 3). Safety requirements for commodities ensuring protection of human life, health and environment shall be mandatory (Art. 6).
