Abstract This Law is composed of 14 articles. Article 1 prohibits to abandon animals outside cattle pens. Article 2 obliges police and Municipality's Officers to transport abandoned animals to animal pens. Article 3 obliges pens to keep a register for all existing animals. Article 4 imposes the isolation of affected animals in quarantine centres. Article 5 defines duties of pen owners. Animals may return to their owners only after paying the listed taxes and fees. Article 7 gives the right to the Municipality to sell animals after 7 days. Article 9 imposes upon animal owners the payment of the compensation for damage caused by abando of animals. Articles 11 and 12 deal with offences and penalties. Article 13 entrusts the Minister of Municipality Affairs and Agriculture to issue necessary regulations and resolutions for implementing this Law.
