Abstract This Law defines the principles, legal and organizational principles of ensuring public, professional, politically impartial, effective, focused on citizens civil service, which functions in the interests of the state and society, as well as the procedure for exercising the right of equal access of citizens of Ukraine to civil service based on their personal qualities and achievements. It establishes that civil servant must comply with the provisions of acting legislation in the field of countering corruption. Evaluation of the results of official activities shall be performed on the basis of indicators of effectiveness, efficiency and quality, determined with the consideration of job responsibilities of a civil servant, as well as compliance with the rules of ethical conduct and legal requirements in the field of anti-corruption. Grounds for termination of civil service in connection with the loss of the right to civil service or its limitation shall be entry into force of a court decision to bring civil servant to administrative liability for corruption or corruption-related offence.
