Abstract This Law, consisting of 11 articles, establishes the State School Feeding Programme (PEAE-PA) within the State of Pará and under the State Secretariat of Education (SEDUC). The Programme has the objectives of providing school feeding to students of elementary education, high school and youth and adult education of the state public network, through the transfer of financial resources directly to the municipalities that carry out, in their respective areas, the acquisition of foodstuff, preparation and provision of school meals for the establishments of the state public school system. To participate in the PEAE/PA, the municipality must comply with the Programme, by signing the Terms of Adhesion to be signed with the State, in the form of the regulation, without the need for any other agreement or contract. These Terms shall be valid for one year and shall be automatically extended. The PEAE/PA's resources are exclusively used for the acquisition of perishable and non-perishable foodstuff and for cooking gas. Full text Portuguese Website www.ioepa.com.br
