Abstract This Law, consisting of 10 articles, creates the CUIDAR - Supplementary Feeding Programme, through the supply of milk food supplements in order to guarantee food security, through the supply of dairy supplements to children belonging to families that are in situation of social vulnerability due to of financial insufficiency. It will be considered in a situation of social vulnerability the family that is inserted in the Single Social Cadastre - CADSU, current database of social programmes of the Government of the State of Roraima. The main objective of CUIDAR is to ensure that children from families who are in a situation of social vulnerability have the necessary food supplements for their complete physical development. CUIDAR will be provided to children from 0 to 3 years, 11 months and 29 days, observing the following criteria: I - children of 6 months and 1 day to 3 years, 11 months and 29 days, of families in situations of social vulnerability; II - children from 0 to 6 months, in cases of maternal death or the children of mothers carrying the HIV virus, remaining the benefit if the child is in the situation described in the previous section.
