Abstract This Law, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes the legal framework for the prevention and control of environmental noise in order to protect the human health. It provides for the situations of noise produced by: Works, maintenance and repair in residential buildings; Equipment used in construction and civil works; Air conditioning equipment and air ventilation; Activities of daily life and pets in residential buildings; Shows, entertainment and similar activities; Any activities in buildings or units for industry, trade and services and any activity performed in public spaces.
