This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting 15 articles divided into five Chapters, establishes the State Policy to Support Cooperatives within the State of Pará. This State Policy consists of a set of guidelines and rules aimed at encouraging cooperative activity and its development in the State of Pará. Under the Constitution of the State of Pará, a broad freedom and autonomy for the organization of cooperatives and for the cooperative act, is guaranteed. To implement the policy it is incumbent upon the State Public Power to carry out the following activiites: to create instruments and mechanisms that stimulate the continuous growth of activity Cooperative; to provide educational and technical assistance to cooperatives based in the State; to establish financial, economic and fiscal incentives for the creation and development of the cooperative system; to facilitate the contact of cooperatives with each other and with their partners; to organize and maintain the general register of state cooperatives, as well as publicize government policies for the sector.
