Abstract

The Supreme Soviet, for the purpose of protection of sown areas, crops, mulberry groves and plantations, decrees that damage caused to kolkhozes, sovkhozes, inter-farming enterprises and organizations, lessees, dehkan farms and other state and social organizations, as well as to single citizens by grazing, damage and annihilation of the crop on the root and damage of mulberry groves, field protection plantations and forest shelter-belts, fruit and berry and other agricultural plantations by livestock, poultry, vehicles, tractors, grain harvester combines, other machinery and cartage through fault of shepherds, collective farmers and other persons must be compensated to the full extent by the respective economic entities, enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizens. In other cases the damage caused by the aforementioned infringements must be compensated by the culprits. Livestock and poultry that have caused damage to sown areas, damage or annihilation of the crops on the root, damage of mulberry groves and plantations in case of necessity must be detained by the damaged economic entities for the exposure of their owners.
