Abstract This Law, consisting of 16 Chapters, provides for activities subject to the control of air pollution, standards and air quality management. It establishes as a principle that any enterprises and potentially polluting activities of the air must use technologies, materials and energy sources that avoid the emission in the air of atmospherical pollutants and while impossibile to use this condition, to minimize emissions, compared with those arising from conventional procedures.
