This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 18 articles, regulates the authorization for food processing infrastructures, registration and trade of edible artisanal food products of animal and plant origin within the State of Pará. It specifies that regional food product processing, treatment and selling must comply with State sanitary quality standards. It applies for the following food products: meat products; milk; eggs; bee products; fish, crustaceans and molluscs; cassava and other edible tubers; fruits; vegetables and legumes; cereals; etc.
