This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 6 articles, defines local environmental impact assessment activities within the State of Pará. It specifies that the local environmental impact assessment includes: any modification of the physical, chemical and biological properties of the natural environment, caused by any form of mass or resulting energy from the human activities which, directly or indirectly, affect health, safety or well-being of the local population; socio-economic activities; biota; sanitary and esthetical conditions of environment; quality of natural resources.
