The Government approves the national strategy for preventing and combating corruption and related action plans, which promote the widest public participation, through civil society organizations and the private sector aiming at integrity, transparency and accountability. The national strategy is based on rigorous collection, compilation and analysis of information on the causes and consequences of corruption. The Anti-Corruption Commission is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the implementation of the national strategy and action plan, the periodic evaluation of its application.
