Abstract This Law, consisting of 48 articles divided into seven Chapters, provides for the Preservation and Protection of Cultural Heritage of the State of Roraima. Cultural heritage of the State is considered both of material or immaterial nature and related to the identity, action, and memory of the different local groups that make up Roraima society, among which include: 1. forms of expression; 2. ways of creating, doing and living; 3. scientific, artistic and technological creations; 4. works, objects, documents, buildings and other spaces destined to artistic-cultural exhibitions; 5. cities, buildings, urban settlements and sites of historical, architectural, landscape, artistic, archaeological, paleontological, ecological, scientific and relevant narratives of its cultural history; 6. indigenous culture taken separately and together; and 7. cultural landscape.
