Abstract This Law, composed of 15 articles divided into four Chapters, defines control and monitoring procedures for seeds production, trade, import and export. The aim is to create the necessary conditions for granting quality of the seeds commercialized within the national territory and to improve national agricultural production. In particular, the Law rules on control bodies, licensing procedures, as well as technical, labelling and packaging requirements for seeds commercialization and import.
