The Programme defines minimum conditions for cotton fiber quality, conservation and phytosanitary practices, which the producer must observe in order to apply for the benefits provided for in this Law. The requirements must prove, through legal documentation, the use of cotton seeds, in a quantity compatible with the planted area, of recommended varieties, produced and purchased from seed producers duly registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Supply.
