This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes sanitary measures for plant protection and conservation. This Law specifies the measures to be satisfied in order to prevent the introduction and dissemination of pests within the territory of Alagoas, as a strategy to guarantee the agricultural and industrial productivity within the State. The Law is divided as follows: Preliminary measures (Chap. I); Organization, control and implementation (Chap. II); Phytosanitary measures (Chap. III); Infractions and penalties (Chap. IV).
