Abstract This Law establishes that on the entire territory of Georgia shall be prohibited: (a) transit and import of hazardous waste (including toxic substances) and radioactive industrial waste, domestic waste and other waste for the purpose of their disposal, recycling or for any other purposes; and (b) import of safe and non-radioactive industrial and domestic waste for disposal, recycling or for any other purposes determined by the Annex 4 to Basel Convention and group “B” specified thereby.
