Abstract This Law, consisting of 25 articles divided into three Chapters, establishes the introduction of complementary mechanisms to combat crimes of corruption and illicit economic participation, with a view to strengthening the actual related current legal framework. The Law prescribes to apply agents of these crimes who are managers, officials or employees of the State or local authorities, public companies, private companies in which the State has a stake or public service concessionaire companies and creation of the Central Office for Combating Corruption subordinated to the Attorney General's Office.
