Abstract This Law creates the State Programme for the Recovery of the State Rural Economy, aiming at strengthening Family Farming and related activities. The Program's objectives are: a) Identify the main causes of the rural exodus in the territory of Rio de Janeiro. b) Identify the regions of the state where there is a greater incidence of reduction of rural economic activity and higher levels of impoverishment of rural man. c) Promote joint government actions that aim to encourage the rural settlement. d) Promote actions that enable the diversification of rural economic activities. e) Establish partnerships between the different levels of government. f) Establish actions facilitating access to the acquisition of inputs, seedlings and other technological resources. g) Promote the valorization of rural workers through technical training in various branches of rural economic activity. h) Restoration of freshwater ecosystems, enabling the implementation of aquaculture projects as an alternative for the region's economic and rural development, etc. Full text Portuguese Website leisestaduais.com.br
